With funding from the John Templeton Foundation, we offered a multi-faceted faculty and student exchange program in philosophy between Chinese and US universities. The project: hosted 40 Chinese graduate students and post-doctoral scholars at Notre Dame, Baylor, Calvin and Hope; produced over 10 articles and 10 books by participants; and placed 10,000 books with Chinese scholars and in philosophy department libraries. sponsored 20 visiting lectureships in China conducted a major public conference in China and an intensive topical seminar in USA.
